WHY I DO WHAT I DO
Sports Broadcasting is my passion. There is no profession that can replicate the rush of covering the magic of sports. As a collegiate athlete I've craved to find a competitive career that could replicate some of the magic I felt as an athlete. When I called my first game and I felt my stomach flutter as the countdown began, I knew this was the path for me.
BACKGROUND
I grew up in a family that really values sports. I played competitive Softball and Volleyball through my teenage years before I ended up at Colorado State as a DI Volleyball athlete. My love for Sports Media really blossomed at CSU when I joined the school TV Show as a Sports Reporter.
COLLEGE WORK
I am the type of person that likes to take advantage of every opportunity available. Once I declared Journalism and decided that Sports Broadcasting was for me, I never looked back. Here are some of the internships and experiences I've had while I was a student-athlete at CSU:

-

Job Shadowed: Jenny Cavinar, Kelsey Wingert, Suzie Hunter, Bridget Howard, Anne Marie Anderson Broadcasting Seminar, ESPN College GameDay, Fox Big Noon Kickoff, and Aaron Taylor.
I have spent the last 3.5 years at CSU taking advantage of every opportunity I can. I have hosted athletic events, served as our Student Athlete President, volunteered in the community, and more. I hope with my last semester I can continue to build on these opportunities and make the most of the rest of my time as a Ram.
